Committed to advance sustainable healthcare

People's health is a foundation for a healthy and prosperous society. Improving health and well-being for all is of absolute importance for a sustainable future where people can thrive. High-quality healthcare and emergency services are vital for society not only to preserve and promote the population’s health and quality of life, but also to ensure economic growth and optimal use of healthcare resources.

How we advance sustainable healthcare

Falck’s purpose is to advance sustainable healthcare to meet people’s changing needs. To do this we optimise operations, reinvent services, and transform systems. We firmly believe we can continue delivering high-quality healthcare services whilst reducing CO2 emissions.

As an example, we are reducing emissions by converting to alternative energy sources, adjusting our care models to test new tools like telehealth, and new care models such as monitoring patients outside of hospitals.

Our sustainability commitment

Globally, healthcare systems are facing pressure from challenges such as increased multi-chronic patients, ageing populations and an ever-growing consumerisation of health.

That is why we are taking a significant step up on our sustainability agenda. With our sustainability strategy, we are responding within areas we believe to have the greatest societal impact, and back that up with targets and KPIs across our business.

We strive to advance sustainable healthcare while reducing our climate impact and at the same time secure a healthy and diverse workplace based on trust.
