The Lead Finance Business Partner will work closely with the Business Finance Officer for Ambulance Western Europe providing financial and business insights.
Some of the job headlines include:
- Lead work towards a uniform performance management framework across Ambulance Western Europe (financial and operational)
- Oversee the financial planning, modelling, and analysis activities across Ambulance Western Europe.
- Develop and drive performance management across the business unit through monitoring of KPIs and providing regular data driven advise to Ambulance Western Europe management.
- Drive cost reduction and profitability enhancement initiatives in cooperation with Country BFOs and analysts.
- Review relevant investment cases within the business unit to ensure quality and consistency.
- Champion the use of Finance Data Warehouse across Ambulance Western Europe and ensure high quality data in FDW.
- Support the implementation of a global EPM system across Western Europe
- Develop, maintain, and drive a common financial forecasting model across the countries in Ambulance Western Europe
- Drive initiatives to support NWC optimization initiatives across Ambulance Western Europe
- Drive initiatives to support the automation journey across Ambulance Western Europe
- Maintain active communication with FP&A and Cost Management to implement best practices across the business unit.
- Be a sparring partner to BFO Ambulance Western Europe
About you
To succeed in the role, you possess a strong mix of strategic thinking, business acumen and communication skills. You work in a structured manner; you take initiative and challenge status quo. Your analytical mindset takes you beyond the numbers to ensure the business understanding and impact on performance. You are extrovert, self-motivated, strategic looking and have strong stakeholder management skills.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- +5 years relevant experience within Business Finance.
- Experience from working in an international company.
- Experience from working in a matrix organization.
- Experience with active financial steering, performance management, reporting and budgeting.
- Ability to co-develop team’s capabilities within Financial Analysis and planning.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting with a forward-looking approach and mindset.
